Our story
Started in a spare room, built for the whole industry
Matchixel began as a small collection of studio visit notes shared between friends working in South African audio. It has grown into a dedicated editorial project that follows the format from first idea to final export — the recording gear, the editing decisions and the people who make it all work.
We are not a production house and we do not sell services. Our only product is careful, honest writing about a medium we think deserves more attention.
